Customers always check the quality of products while buying jewelry online or going personally to any generic store. They check whether product is under warranty so that it can be easily replaced if it found damaged. To avoid the customers from being cheated and simultaneously keeping their faith in the product and the seller, certain parameters are set by recognized labs or institutes to maintain the quality of product.
If product is found perfect in these parameters then seller of that product would get certificates issued by recognized institutes or labs.
Certificates for loose diamonds are given by GIA (Gemological Institutes of America), AGS(American Gemological Society), EGL, HRD and others.
